Friday Frenzy-HM Smart Buy

So here's something absurd:  I live in the northeast (Boston, MA) and I've spent the past 2 freezing months without a coat.  I'll try not to brag about the fact that I haven't gotten sick YET but that's another bizarre mystery that I have yet to discover.  Enough blabbing.  The good news is that I just purchased a reputably gorge coat from my local H&M store.  This baby was retailing at $70 and I couldn't have grabbed a better deal! I walked in the store with a 50% off coupon that I had received and it was love at first buy.  I obviously had missed the black Friday deals but who the heck wakes up the morning after Thanksgiving anyways? Regardless  I don't think this coat had been released during Thanksgiving weekend.    On to the details… the coat fits perfect on me and my body shape.  I was tired of previous knee long annoying coats that bothered me every time I sat down.  So this year, I opted for a coat that didn't go past my hips because I wanted to be comfortable in it.    I mostly fell in love with this coat because of its military look.  Takes me back to hitler and his bossy mean style, and I love that Ish! I also bought it because it isn't your regular winter coat, it has details! My favorite is the shoulder fur, it adds pizzaz to the damn thing.  I have a loving relationship with dark toned coats because who has time to wash a white coat every other day? I mean unless you're only going to use it once or twice, do yourself the favor and run away from light skinned coats.  As far as quality and durability, I don't know as of yet because I'm a first time H&M coat buyer.  I will say however that I bought a $200 Guess coat last year that ripped into pieces by the end of winter.  I mean seriously, I lost every button on it.  I do have faith in this H&M investment and it looks durable and trendy so I will keep my fingers crossed and keep stunting in my very bossy coat. What I would rather wear.

While enjoying the VS show tonight, I thought I'd present to you something with more fabric than what Gisele was wearing tonight. Lets be honest ladies.. Who wouldn't want to wear leggings, a sweater and uggs everyday! Its so darn comfy.  This is my Go-To-Mommy-Oufit for these cold winter months.  What can I say? Its a Northeast thang! Update.

Ugh. Were shall I begin? So much has changed since I last posted that I've been uninspired to post due to the proximity of changes in my life.  First off, everything changed once I entered the mommy's world.  What do I mean by everything? I mean that my priorities and my interests have taken a permanent 360.  There comes a time in a girls life when she finally figures out what she really wants in life!  You know that part of your brain you never knew you had, that suddenly lights up a bulb and enables you to envision what you really desire? Well YES that sums up what happened to me in the past year.  Long term positive changes have occurred, and have enabled me to learn a lot and form pieces to endless missing puzzles.  Nonetheless, I still have a passion for blogging and expressing my ideas, BUT I will admit this blog will change into an abyss of my life.  I want to blog everything I've learned as a new mommy and incorporate my passion for fashion, along with my writing capabilities, and all other crazy things that sizzle in my head.  So what am I into now? Welp, I've developed a new found love for finance with a an emphasis on couponing, investing, and saving money.  I've also changed my perspective on fashion and spending lots of money on clothes and such.  My social life is nearly inexistent so I spent most of my time working or taking care of my precious little prince Tristan Bale.  To top things off, I'm completely dedicated to family and spending quality time with other loved ones.  I really hope you guys appreciated my courtesy life update but now it is time introduce some pictures of me and my prince! Pregnant: How to dress for the holidays

Can I just say...I love being pregnant ! As the holiday approaches, it has became a bit difficult to decide on what to wear for that special christmas day.  If you're pregnant I suggest you start searching for an outfit NOW! It takes longer for a woman impregnated to find something to wear.  My advice is to stick with something simple and classy.  Too much fashion, prints and colors might not look good when you're pregnant because clearly your body image/portions have changed.  Instead, have some fun picking out some funky accessories.  If you're wearing a dress, make sure to get something fitting around the breast and looser around your stomach while still flaunting that baby bump! Leggings are also a great idea when paired with a fashionable shirt.  Also, do not feel obligated to shop only at maternity stores for clothes, I find that H&M and Forever 21 have alot of cute clothes that are half priced, in style & still fit my pregnant self.  Dont forget to play with your hair a bit! Ombre hair is still in, and it looks amazing on pregger women who are being blessed with that growing shiny gorgeous hair! Update

Its been a while since I posted, but as usual its due to personal involvement.  This time around, its a life changing one! Me & my fiancee are expecting our first child!!  Nothing compares to this feeling of creating another human being and knowing that you are the carrier.  I've undergone so many body and mind changes.  The hormones have treated me well (Thank you baby Jesus) and I am not cranky and crazy, instead I am really bubbly and exited to be experiencing motherhood for the first time.  The first 3 months were killer because I could not eat well and the nausea was killing me softly.  Past the 3 months, things started to get better and I became more confident and exited for what awaits me.  The great news is that I will be blogging more about pregnancy and baby stuff because it simply fascinates me!! And to start it off.. Here are some pictures of my belly bump.

Nails, nails, nails

I've resurrected my friends & I wanted to share my nail journal with you! The appearance of my nails usually matters to me a whole bunch and I try to keep up with them by switching up the colors.  Picking out nail colors is my sanctuary and most definitely gives me something to look forward to every week.  My favorite polishes range from OPI to anything else I can get my hands on!  Here are some of my favorite polishes.. Every year, the beginning of the school year brings mixed emotions for we never know what lies ahead of us.  New friends, new classes, new teachers and often times a new school.  Consider taking every year as a new challenge with a new approach and different goals.  This school year is genuinely distinct for me as I am commencing my law degree after having completed my business degree, all while my youngest sibling is starting high school.  No matter what the circumstances may be, one thing is for sure; school is almost here and we do not dare begin our journeys with senseless fashion.  Take into account these attractive yet price clever pieces I recollected from H&M. Punta Cana Vacation

Happy Monday fellow friends! I've spent a great deal of my time reminiscing about my recent 19 day vacation in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.  Although I was born in the Dominican, praising this country will never get weary.  I'd like to share some pictures from my stay at Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana.  If you're ever looking for an amazing vacation destination, look no further than the Punta Cana, its truly a gem! Summer Pucker

Hello !! Meet my summer puckers.  Although its nothing fancy (just a good old Revlon super lustrous lipstick) I cant stop dabbing it on.  I'd been searching for some different colored lipsticks all summer and I encountered these babies at CVS.  The first one shown below is the Creme in Siren & the second one I'm wearing is the Matte in Pink Pout.  The lipstick feels as smooth as a lip balm but are very long lasting.  As you can see they have a natural gloss because I did not apply any gloss in addition to the lipstick.  Before I blab any longer.. Dear summer,

Atlas summer is here! The weather's nice and people are in the most pleasant mood.  I've been keeping busy lately with all the awesomeness going on.  I was recently in Miami but I'm back to Boston and soon due for another vacation.
